The NZRAB recommends that people who wish to employ a Registered Architect should firstly check whether architectural practices or firms employ Registered Architects, as many commercial entities offering architectural design services infact do not employ Registered Architects. This search facility is one way to undertake such a check.
If your search produces "no match" that means no Registered Architect on the NZRAB Register has linked to a firm or practice by that name.
However, the names of the architectural practices here are a guide only. The NZRAB cannot guarantee their accuracy and some information will be out of date. Members of the public with concerns should ask practices or firms directly whether Registered Architects will undertake or be responsible for the work done. In a few cases the "practices" listed are other places where Architects also work, such as universities, construction companies or government departments.
If your search includes a word used in the titles of many architectural practices, then your search results will be too numerous to be useful. For example, rather than seaching for "Zoolander Architects", seach for just "Zoolander".
